The cabin
A 28-foot ridge of glass facing the Blue Ridge. Three bedrooms, three baths, a hot tub on the deck. Designed in the Scandinavian register: fewer things, better ones, warmed by where it sits.
What's inside
A 28-foot ridge of glass facing the Blue Ridge. Cedar throughout. Designed in the Nordic register: fewer things, better ones.
The Blue Ridge runs the horizon out every window. A small pond sits below the deck. Both are at their best at golden hour.
On the deck, facing the ridge. Best at dusk, better after a hike, best of all when the fog rolls in.
Linen sheets, heavy throws, blackout curtains where you want them. The two upstairs bedrooms are en-suite; the main-level room has a bath right beside it.
Gas range, good knives, room for everyone to cook. Stocked for the meal you'll actually make on Saturday, not the one in the listing photo.
Check-in is contactless, so you arrive on your own schedule and never have to coordinate a meet-up. You won't see us hovering, but we've thought about the things that usually get forgotten.
What's in the cabin
Everything in the cabin was chosen on purpose. The linens, the cookware, the speakers, the soap, the books on the shelf. Nothing came from a bulk buy.
